11" X 17" LASER CUT ACRYLIC

These posters depict the process developed over the course of a semester working with readymade images and tools. The first poster lists the two sets of rules: altering a known image through the use of unknown tools and processes, and creating an image through the use of known and premade tools. The subsequent two posters show the results of both sets of processes. The cut acrylic serves to turn each poster into a secondary process, in which the rules and examples become a literal kit of parts and can be broken apart and rearranged or altered again to continue the process of making.
